The Dreamscape Universe of An Aspiring Scribe

"One describes a tale best by telling the tale. You see? The way one describes a story, to oneself or to the world, is by telling the story. It is a balancing act and it is a dream. The more accurate the map, the more it resembles the territory. The most accurate map possible would be the territory, and thus would be perfectly accurate and perfectly useless. The tale is the map that is the territory." --Neil Gaiman, 'American Gods'

Merry Christmas!

I probably won't have time to post tomorrow, and I have a few minutes, so I guess I'll say it now. You can read the title... ;)

About 2,000 years ago, in a small village in the heart of a troubled nation under occupation by a foreign power, in an out-of-the-way stable that stank of animals and hay...the miracle of life came to a mother and her husband, so that the whole world could receive that same miracle at the hands of the child who was born and laid to rest in a manger. And when it happened, the angels sang "Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace to men, on whom his favour rests." And so they sing still, in the midst of global unrest, poverty, and hunger. "Peace On Earth."

All the best of the holiday's greetings to you and yours in this truly wonderful season of Christmas.

Be seeing you,
Steven
